STEM Overview - Nevada STEM Stakeholders Committee Statewide Meetings

The Center on Instruction's STEM staff recently met with the Nevada STEM Stakeholders Committee at two statewide meetings led by the Nevada Department of Education and the Southwest Regional Comprehensive Center. These meetings, held in Las Vegas and Reno on November 16 and 17th, were the first step in broadly soliciting input about STEM related initiatives across the state. COI partners Craig Strang and Lynn Barakos from the Lawrence Hall of Science at the University of California at Berkeley set the stage for productive discussions by providing information about National STEM efforts and resources, as described in the PowerPoint presentation available for download below.
