This resource is just one of many documents on the Technical Assistance Center on Social Emotional Intervention for Young Children website that support positive behavior outcomes for young children. Behavior impacts children’s learning; young students who are not able to self-regulate their social and emotional behaviors are often disruptive to the class and fail to reach their own learning potential. Children with special needs especially need a positive and supportive approach to classroom management.
